2015 Phinny Hill Syrah
2015 was the hottest vintage in Washington State. Our 2015 Phinny Hill Syrah expresses what happens when it is hot hot hot! The nose shows the earthiness from the soil the grapes were grown from, followed by floral notes of violet. It is bright on the palate with hints of blackberry, red cherry and raspberry, then there is that bacon fat. Oh, the bacon fat! Firm tannin and acidity round out our Phinny Hill Syrah. Perfectly balanced on so many levels.
